Jeff joined the Gulf of Maine Research Institute in April 2016. In his role as Project Manager for Interactive Learning Technologies, Jeff manages the development of Real World, Real Science, a NASA-funded project that enables students to explore the relationship between weather and climate.
Prior to joining GMRI, Jeff worked in operations and product management roles for several cleantech companies, including EnerNOC, OptiRTC, and Banyan Water. In these roles, Jeff managed the design and development of real-time monitoring and control platforms to enable smarter water and energy use decisions.
Jeff received his B.A. in Geography, with a minor in Environmental Studies, from Dartmouth College. He also has an M.S. in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from Tufts University, where his research focused on watershed systems modeling.
A born-and-raised New Englander, Jeff is happy to call Maine home after years of living on the west coast and in Texas. In his spare time, you’re most likely to find him on a mountain, in a river, or atop a bicycle.
