As a relatively young organization which is growing very rapidly, the Gulf of Maine Research Institute has just begun to contemplate how to effectively build a volunteer program. We have been delighted by the many inquiries and requests for more information about volunteering with our organization, and we are happy to accept contact information for anyone interested in joining a pool of on-call volunteers whom we may contact on occasion when special events, projects or in-house work arises.
We cannot yet support regularly scheduled volunteers but will be happy to stay in touch with interested individuals to keep you informed of our progress.
