These Gulf of Maine Responsibly Harvested Affiliates are providing a way for consumers to choose seafood that is traceable to fishing communities in the Gulf of Maine region and meets important criteria around responsible harvest.

To maintain the traceability of the Gulf of Maine Responsibly Harvested label, licensed suppliers set up a contract with their customers (like supermarkets and universities), giving them the right to use the label in a seafood case or on a menu. Our retail Affiliates below are currently selling Gulf of Maine Responsibly Harvested seafood directly to consumers.

Champions are Affiliates that have achieved extraordinary goals. To become a Champion, an Affiliate has reached one of the following goals:

  • 100% of the white fish they purchase is Gulf of Maine Responsibly Harvested.
  • They always have Gulf of Maine Responsibly Harvested seafood on their campus, on their restaurant’s menu, or in their stores.
