This special, virtual event is designed exclusively for our Wind Rose Society First Mates, Pilots, and Captains.
We are excited to offer this special opportunity to spend time with President/CEO Don Perkins and Sustainable Seafood Program Manager, Kyle Foley, who will be joined by special guest, Chef Barton Seaver. Together, we’ll learn how to make a restaurant-quality dish using fresh-caught, local fish from Gulf of Maine Sashimi.
As Kyle stated in a recent staff feature article, “The seafood industry has been particularly hard-hit by the ongoing global pandemic but cooking seafood at home represents an opportunity to support them.”
We invite you, our closest Wind Rose Society donors, to join us on Thursday, September 24th for this fun, informative culinary experience. We will coordinate with Gulf of Maine Sashimi to source the week’s freshest catch which you can purchase to pick up from GMRI with your complimentary box of ingredients, handpicked by Chef Seaver. Don’t worry, if you aren’t local, we’ll provide you with a detailed ingredient list.
