Help Desk Support Technician
As Help Desk Support Technician, Karen spends half her time supporting the IT needs of GMRI staff. The rest of her time is dedicated to facilities management. Karen first joined GMRI in January of 2016.
Karen has a wide variety of technological experience. Whether managing a television production team, testing beta versions of new software, or manning the help desk, she has always had an affinity for IT. Currently pursuing a GIS certificate from University of Maine - Machias, Karen also holds undergraduate degrees in Economics and Horticulture.
In her free time, Karen enjoys raising her chickens, tending her bees, and exploring the woods with her husband and two dogs.
