Woolwich Climate Resilience Committee: Community Project Kick-Off

Registration is not required.

The Woolwich Climate Resilience Committee, in partnership with the Gulf of Maine Research Institute, invites you to the launch of the town’s Climate Vulnerability Assessment and Action Plan at Woolwich Central School in the cafeteria.

This state-funded project will help Woolwich:

  • Identify local risks and hazards such as flooding, storms, wildfire, changes in local fisheries, and invasive species.
  • Support informed community decision-making to protect the people, places, infrastructure, and natural resources we share.
  • Create a plan that incorporates our community’s priorities, ideas, and values for a safer and stronger Woolwich.

This process is only meaningful with community input. Your voice is essential. Come share your experiences, ideas, and priorities so together we can shape a plan that reflects the needs and values of Woolwich.
