  • Accounts Payable Clerk

    The Accounts Payable Clerk is an entry-level position that includes company-specific accounting training and is designed to support existing accounting staff and meet the growing accounting needs of GMRI and its subsidiaries. Additional tasks will support the overall requirements of the accounting team and may include assisting with cash and receivables, clerical support, automated accounts payable research, and special projects as needed.

  • Sponsored Projects Office Finance Associate

    The Sponsored Projects Office (“SPO”) at GMRI provides embedded sponsored projects support which spans GMRI’s programmatic functions. The Sponsored Projects Office Finance Associate will perform pre- and post-award activities under the supervision of the SPO Finance Manager to support GMRI’s sponsored projects portfolio, assisting in the creation and completion of all non-science aspects of research administration from proposal development to account closeout. Pre-award activities include developing proposal budgets, tracking administrative components of proposals, reviewing proposals for compliance with internal and external guidelines, and managing external subaward communication. The Sponsored Projects Office Finance Associate will also help with ‘opportunity monitoring’ efforts, helping to identify funding opportunities for federal support and distributing them to relevant GMRI programs for consideration. Post-award activities include compliance monitoring, payment processing, financial reporting, issuing outgoing agreements (subawards, subcontracts, and professional services agreements) and managing requests for rebudgets, no-cost extensions, and other post-award events requiring funder approval.
