FishSCORE2030 Events
Working together to create climate-ready fisheries.
The FishSCORE Network is a forum for information exchange about climate-ready fisheries strategies through workshops, seminar series, and virtual meetings that will inform science-to-practice climate adaptive fisheries strategies.
Upcoming events
Topics at the nexus of climate change, fisheries, and blue foods
This webinar is part of a monthly series on highlighting current efforts and challenges along the spectrum of the climate-fisheries nexus.
- Next Webinar: February 27, 2025, 12 – 1 pm EST.
- Topic: A focus on the Climate, Ecosystems, and Fisheries Initiative
Previous events
FishSCORE2030 Kick-off Webinar
On October 10 and 11, 2023, FishSCORE2030 held a kick-off webinar to introduce the program’s initiatives. The webinar was held twice to accommodate individuals from different global time zones. The goal of the webinar was to provide information about the FishSCORE2030 program, its planned initiatives, projects currently aligned to FishSCORE2030 through the UN Decade of Ocean Science, and opportunities to engage. You can watch a recording of the webinar above, and read a summary of the webinar here.
FishSCORE Workshop at the World Fisheries Congress
On March 3, 2024, FishSCORE held a full-day workshop as part of the World Fisheries Congress in Seattle, WA. The workshop provided background about the program and to facilitated discussions about pathways to build climate resilience in fisheries, climate vulnerability and resilience assessment and planning, and co-development of knowledge and tools for resilience building. The workshop summary provides presentation and lightening talk abstracts and summarizes group discussions.
