Dive into the future of ocean innovation at the inaugural Blue w(AI)ve Venture Showcase, where the seven companies participating in the Blue w(AI)ve Accelerator will showcase their groundbreaking innovations in leveraging artificial intelligence for ocean-based solutions. These innovators represent promising blue technology focused on exploration, conservation, and sustainable use of ocean resources.

The Blue w(AI)ve Venture Showcase will convene entrepreneurs, investors, students, industry partners, and the public to hear pitches from the seven blue technology companies participating in the program.

The Blue w(AI)ve Venture Showcase is scheduled to take place at Northeastern University's Roux Institute in Portland, Maine, on May 23rd, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by a reception from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

About the Blue w(AI)ve Accelerator:

In 2024, The Gulf of Maine Research Institute's Ventures arm partnered with Northeastern University’s Roux Institute to launch The Blue w(AI)ve Accelerator, a first-of-its-kind 16-week accelerator program focused on the intersection of two rapidly-emerging economic sectors: artificial intelligence (AI) and blue tech. This Blue w(AI)ve Accelerator, in partnership with NU's Institute for Experiential AI, supports seven early-stage companies leveraging AI for ocean-based solutions around the world.
