Connected Learning Ecosystems Gathering: Connect, Reflect & Plan
8:30 AM–2:30 PM | Wells Conference Center | PublicJoin Learning Ecosystems Northeast Connected Learning Ecosystems (CLEs) for two days of collaborative planning, reflection, and connection.
Learning Ecosystems Northeast (LENE), a partnership of teachers, librarians, in and out-of-school educators, 4-H staff & volunteers, museum/science center staff, and more invites you to join two days of connection, reflection, and planning at the University of Maine in Orono, ME.
Representatives from many of the LENE partner organizations will be in attendance to ensure folks from all learning contexts have the support they need, especially when it comes to collaborative project planning.
This partnership supports peer communities from across the Northeast called Connected Learning Ecosystems (CLEs). These communities are working together to increase opportunities for youth to engage in data-rich climate investigations and to link in- and out-of-school learning. CLEs and this gathering are open to all!
This event offers a chance to connect locally and regionally, enhance existing relationships, build new ones, and explore and experience different approaches to building climate and data literacy skills for youth. Collaborate in small groups to brainstorm and receive support in bringing climate/data-focused project ideas to life through partners and funding.
More details will be added as we get closer to this event. Agenda will include active learning experinces, sharing and showcasing examples of connected learning throughout the region, and connection and planning time.
