Alec Voorhis

Maintenance Specialist

Alec has a BA from Clark University, with experience as a merchant mariner working up from ordinary seaman to third officer with Military Sealift Command, then as a mate on an oil spill cleanup ship docked on Union Wharf for MSRC. Experience as a fire suppression technician, HVAC Controller, and Maint. Mechanic. He currently handles maintenance for our Union Wharf properties in addition to our Commercial street building.

Originally from Southern Maine with a family involved with fisheries and boatbuilding, he values having a support role in work that promotes healthy fisheries and working waterfront. He is also interested in music history and album collecting.
