Charissa Kerr

Charissa Kerr joined GMRI in May of 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer. Her role is to manage and grow the financial functions of GMRI through leading and overseeing the Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Facilities, and General Admin teams.

Charissa attended UMass-Dartmouth, studying Accounting and Economics and furthered her studies at Endicott College where she received an MBA with a concentration in International Business. In the over 15 years prior to arriving at GMRI Charissa worked in the non-profit sector.

When she is not at work you will see Charissa travelling with her husband and two kids where she fills the time with SCUBA diving, hiking, biking, running, and reading. In addition, she and her husband, Doug, spend what time they have remaining as volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
