Dylan Pugh

A Mainer by way of Washington state, New York City, and everywhere in between, Dylan brings a wide range of experience to the GMRI team. Dylan first came to Maine to attend College of the Atlantic, where he found a like-minded community of environmentally-focused innovators. After graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Business and Creative Writing, Dylan began a stint of odd jobs, working as a tour guide, biodiesel producer, head chef, and marketer before returning to school to pursue a degree in Computer Science. Software development was a natural fit for Dylan, and he honed his skills building performance-intensive data processing applications for the energy and health care sectors. Dylan joined GMRI in May of 2020 and was thrilled to find an organization that allowed him to combine his technical curiosity with a focus on social and environmental responsibility.
