Sheba Brown

Sheba joined GMRI in 2023 as its Community Science Program Manager in the Community Team, working to strengthen and develop community science practice throughout the organization. Their background is in outdoor environmental education, program development, community outreach, and government with a strong interest in community and public service.

Prior to joining GMRI, they worked for the City of Portland’s Executive Department, as a district field representative for a Member of Congress, and served two AmeriCorps terms, both as a Corps Member and Team Leader. In their free time, they can be found trying to do three crafting projects at once, or dusting off their unicycle for a short ride around town.
